Summary of Adventist Beliefs

Seventh-day Adventists are a Christian faith community rooted in the Bible and focused on living with hope in Christ’s soon return. Here are our core beliefs:

God

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who is loving, just, and the source of all life.

The Bible

The Bible is God’s inspired Word, revealing His plan of salvation and guiding our daily lives.

Jesus Christ

Jesus, the Son of God, became human, lived a perfect life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return soon to take His followers to Heaven.

Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His grace, we are forgiven and transformed.

The Sabbath

The seventh day, Saturday, is the biblical Sabbath—a day of rest and worship, reminding us of God’s creation and redemption.

Second Coming

We look forward to the imminent return of Jesus Christ, when He will restore all things and bring eternal peace.

Life After Death

Death is a temporary sleep until the resurrection at Christ’s return when the faithful will receive eternal life.

Health & Wholeness

We believe in caring for our bodies and minds as temples of the Holy Spirit, promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Mission

We are called to share the good news of Jesus, make disciples, and serve others, preparing the world for Christ’s return.
